Booking terms

1. Mobile service and appointments

EWS HEALTH SERVICES PTY LTD (trading as Ear Wax Studio, ABN 57 702 807 494) operates exclusively as a mobile ear care service by appointment. We do not operate a walk-in clinic or retail premises.

Appointment dates and times are arranged by appointment on selected dates.

2. Service requests vs confirmed bookings

Submitting a visit request through our website registers your contact details and preferred location. It does not constitute an immediate confirmed appointment. Our team will contact you to verify eligibility, agree on an available time window and confirm practical access.

3. Fees and payment

The introductory home visit fee is $140 per person for clinical assessment and wax removal from one or both ears during the same appointment, where suitable.

If Debbie examines your ears and no wax is present, the fee is reduced to $50 for the assessment and professional advice.

Payment is made following the appointment. We do not collect credit card details or advance payments online.

4. Age limits and clinical consent

We provide home ear care to adults and children aged 7 and over. For children, a parent or legal guardian must be present throughout the visit.

Clinical consent is obtained directly from the patient (or their authorised medical decision-maker) prior to any procedure. Booking a visit on someone's behalf does not replace the requirement for informed consent.

5. Urgent medical presentations

Ear Wax Studio provides routine assessment and wax removal. If you experience sudden hearing loss, severe pain, persistent discharge or acute dizziness, please seek urgent medical assessment from your GP or an emergency department.
