Meet Debbie
Deborah Smith, known as Debbie, is a Registered Nurse with earwax removal experience in the UK. She provides Ear Wax Studio's home visits on the Sunshine Coast, taking time to explain the assessment, answer questions and ensure you feel comfortable throughout.
Home visits are available by appointment on selected dates. Debbie brings all required sterile and protective equipment directly to you.

Booking for a parent or someone you support?
You can easily arrange a visit on their behalf and provide your contact details for updates. Let us know the patient's details, your relationship and any practical access needs. Clinical consent is discussed directly with the patient or their authorised decision-maker during the visit.

Arrange visiting clinics for residents at one location. We work with village coordinators and facility managers on the Sunshine Coast to arrange dedicated dates, practical access and clear fee agreements.

Do you come to my home?

How much is a visit?
The introductory price is $140 per person for assessment and wax removal from one or both ears at the same visit, where suitable. If no wax is found, the total assessment fee is $50 instead.
Do I pay when booking?
No. Payment is taken after your visit. We do not collect credit card details or advance payments online.
Can I book for my parent?
Yes. Provide their details and let us know you are arranging the visit. Booking assistance does not replace the patient's clinical consent.
Do you see children?
We see children aged 7 and over, subject to assessment and suitability. A parent or guardian must attend the appointment.
What if my hearing has suddenly changed?
Please seek urgent medical assessment for sudden hearing loss from an emergency department or doctor rather than waiting for a routine wax appointment.
